Ingredients

  • Butter
  • Sugar

Steps

  1. Put the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. Cream the ingredients. Use a hand or stand mixer to cream these ingredients at medium-to-high speed.
    • Time will depend; on medium-to-high speed it will take about 2–3 minutes if making cookies, or 3–5 minutes if making cakes.
  3. Scrape down the bowl as you cream. This will incorporate the unmixed ingredients you may have on sides.
  4. Use in recipes.
