Users

User (in the "user" group) is a group that is made up of all registered users, whether they have any advanced group or not.

Appointment

This user group is granted automatically to all registered users.

Autoconfirmed users

Autoconfirmed users (in the "autoconfirmed" group) are users who can bypass certain restrictions set on new accounts such as CAPTCHAs, and can edit pages protected against non-autoconfirmed users.

Appointment

These users are automatically promoted to autoconfirmed after their account reaches 4 days of existence and 10 edits made. This is done to prevent spam.

Confirmed users

Appointment

Any registered user may request the confirmed permission in skyHow:Administrators' noticeboard, provided they have a good reason for the confirmed permission. You don't need to request this permission if you are already autoconfirmed.

Autopatrolled users

Administrators

Administrators (sysop) are users who have been granted the technical ability to perform certain actions on skyHow (some of which include deleting/undeleting pages, protecting/unprotecting pages and blocking/unblocking users). Their role is mainly to help skyHow users and the community, as well as to maintain and protect it from vandalism and make sure that the policies are respected.

Any registered user may be nominated or nominate themselves in skyHow:Requests for permissions for the administrator permission, provided they:

A request will be considered successful if all of the following conditions are met:

  • At least 3 users support
  • There is a support ratio of at least 60%
  • A minimum period of five (5) days has elapsed since start of voting

A request will be deemed successful when closed by a bureaucrat after having achieved a 60% support ratio.

A request will be considered successful if all of the following conditions are met:
